About our Project
The Aroha Cookbook Project, rooted in the Māori concept of love, addresses challenges faced by diverse Melbourne communities, including refugees, asylum seekers, and international students. With a motto of “Connecting Cultures Through Cuisines,” the project aims to foster community through shared food and stories. Participants from various regions contribute recipes and narratives, transcending culinary experiences to create a tapestry of shared history.
